Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd, a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa, designs, builds, delivers, and supports all services offered under the Rocket Expansion, Authorversity, and Writetreat brands, including custom author websites, advertising management, hosting and maintenance, online courses and coaching, and in-person retreats. When you purchase any of these services, your agreement is with Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd, regardless of which brand name appears on the page you purchased from. Full company registration details are available on request.

Author Clan LLC, a Wyoming, United States limited liability company, provides U.S. dollar payment collection and processing services on behalf of Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd. If you pay in U.S. dollars, your payment may be processed and collected by Author Clan LLC as Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd’s payment processor. Author Clan LLC does not design, build, deliver, or warrant any of the services described on this website, and has no role in service delivery, scheduling, content, or client support.

References to “Author Clan,” “we,” “us,” or “our” elsewhere on this website and in these Terms refer to the overall business operated by Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd under its various brand names, except where these Terms specifically describe payment processing, in which case they refer to Author Clan LLC acting in that limited capacity.

2. Services

Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd offers, among other things: custom author website design, development, hosting, and maintenance (under the Rocket Expansion brand); online courses, community access, and coaching for authors (under the Authorversity brand); and in-person writing retreats (under the Writetreat brand). Specific service details, pricing, and inclusions are as described on the relevant page or in your order confirmation at the time of purchase.

3. Payment and Billing

Where payment is made in U.S. dollars, it will typically be processed via our payment processor, Stripe, and collected by Author Clan LLC on behalf of Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd. Author Clan LLC’s role is limited to collecting and forwarding payment; it is not responsible for the performance of any service. Prices, currencies, and accepted payment methods may vary by offering and are shown at checkout.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Refunds are solely at our discretion. Cancellation of ongoing services may be requested at any time, but continuation or cancellation is granted at our discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

Except where otherwise agreed in writing, Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd and its licensors retain ownership of all templates, course materials, and proprietary content used in delivering the services. Upon full payment, clients receive the rights described in their specific service agreement or order confirmation (for example, ownership of a completed custom website), which take precedence over this general statement where they conflict with it.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd’s total liability arising out of or relating to any service is limited to the amount actually paid by you for that service. Neither Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd nor Author Clan LLC is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms, and your agreement with Rocket Expansion (Pty) Ltd for any service purchased through this website, are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, regardless of your location, the currency you paid in, or the payment processor used. Any dispute will be handled in accordance with South African law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you may have under the laws of your own country.
